Reeves win top award at KEiBA’s!
Reeves have been declared winners of the “Large Business of the Year” in the Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBAs) for 2011.
The awards ceremony, hosted by Bob “The Cat” Bevan, took place on Thursday 30 June at Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone and saw nearly 500 members of the Kent business community come together to celebrate the best that Kent has to offer.
Philip Cunningham, Head of Corporate and Commercial at Brachers, and judge of the Large Business of the Year category, commented,
“The growth and gains [Reeves has] made in the last year were exceptional, sustainable, and reflective of the ethos and involvement of the management team… They were obvious market leaders in their sector”.
He went on to state that,
“The sense of unity in purpose at all levels of the business and its pride in its success, earned the title Large Business of the Year”.
A delighted Clive Stevens, Managing Partner at Reeves, accepted the award:
“This is fantastic news and we are all particularly delighted to be recognised in Kent where Reeves have been present for over 100 years! We’re all extremely proud to be part of the Kent business community. This success is down to everyone at Reeves’ collective efforts so can I say well done to all my colleagues, and also the valued clients we work for, for helping to make our firm a truly award winning business”.
Winning this award follows up previous recognition for Reeves who won “Best Large Firm” in the AccountancyAge Awards in 2009. Reeves have also twice won “Best Tax Team in the UK” at the national LexisNexis Taxation Awards and have been shortlisted again this year.
