Clive qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 and in 1989 became a partner in Reeves, the largest accountancy practice in Kent. He was promoted to Managing Partner of the firm in 1995 at the age of 39 with the responsibility for managing the firm’s growth and strategic direction.
Clive is also a founding director of the Association of Profit Advisers Ltd, a company established in 1997 to develop and promote profit-enhancing consultancy systems to the accounting profession.
Between 1994 and 1996, Clive was the Finance Director of Monodex International Ltd, a company that manufactured and sold filing and data retrieval systems negotiating the sale of the business to ACCO Europe PLC. As a result he has contacts within the office equipment industry both in the UK and Europe.
He has acted as a non-executive chairman for Omnific Studios Partnership, a major design partnership as well as advised a wide range of businesses on financial and strategic development.
Clive is also Chairman of Kreston International, a worldwide network of independent accounting and business advisory firms.
Clive has also been invited by the government to get involved in the Red Tape challenge.
