We will be holding our next seminar on Thursday 8 March 2012, with a theme of fundraising.
Our speaker, Matt Turner, is a director of Creative Pod Ltd and a previous winner of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The company works mainly in design and marketing. However Matt has a keen interest in the Charity Sector and has some simple and effective suggestions to help charities in their approach to fundraising. Creative Pod say: ‘’we can make and save them time and money through creative marketing’’.
The seminar is aimed at trustees, chief officers and chairs of fundraising committees.
The event will be held at the exciting new Kent Event Centre at The Kent Showground, Detling. Registration will be from 3.45pm and the seminar will last for approximately two hours.

Trustees Responsibilities Seminar
We will also be holding our regular trustees responsibilities seminar in 2012, subject to demand.
These seminars are aimed at all trustees, particularly new trustees, and at chief and financial officers. Previous seminars have covered a range of subjects, including trustee responsibilities, financial statements, taxation and trading, VAT and employment, and provide an opportunity to update your knowledge with any relevant changes, and ensure that you have the most relevant information to hand.
